Conservas Nicola joins Azaraque School’s initiative for the Ronald McDonald Family Room
On Saturday, November 11, we travelled to Alhama to take part in the Charity Walk organized by Azaraque School in Alhama de Murcia as part of their 10th anniversary celebration. Entire families joined the walk, which began in the heart of Alhama and ended at the school’s campus.
All proceeds from the event were donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in support of the Ronald McDonald Family Room at the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Hospital in Murcia. This Family Room provides a warm, welcoming space where families with hospitalized children can rest and spend time together, just like at home. It includes a kitchen and dining area, a lounge with TV, showers, lockers, and a playroom for the siblings of young patients. Its role is crucial for families who must navigate life between hospital stays and home life.
At Conservas Nicola, we are deeply grateful to Azaraque School for launching such a meaningful initiative. We’d also like to thank every family, attendee, and partner who made this event possible. Together, we not only support families going through challenging times but also strengthen a spirit of community and solidarity that enriches us all.
